Welcome to IPIN 2023

We are pleased to welcome you at the Fraunhofer Institute for the thirteenth edition of the International Conference on Indoor Positioning and Indoor Navigation (IPIN). Launched in 2010 in Zurich, Switzerland, IPIN is a unique event entirely dedicated to indoor localization, it’s applications and its development. Together with the support of our researchers from the Fraunhofer Institute for Integrated Circuits IIS, the German Aerospace Center (DLR ) and the Hochschule für Technik Stuttgart (HFT ) we look forward to welcoming you at the Positioning and Networking departments of Fraunhofer IIS in Nuremberg, Germany .

Nuremberg is a modern city of half a million people in the middle of one of the most important European high-tech regions. The cosmopolitan business metropolis is the economic and cultural center for 3.5 million people in the metropolitan region. Nuremberg combines an efficient infrastructure, attractive investment locations, a high quality of life and the advantages of the dynamic business location of Bavaria. Here you can not only work successfully, but also live well. Long tradition of craftsmanship and commerce - and clear Today, the city is one of the most important high-tech locations in Europe.
